Using this website
These terms apply to modernnestbalance.com (the "website"), run by Modern Nest Balance. By using the website, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Enquiries and quotes
Sending an enquiry does not create a contract or oblige either party to go ahead. Any work is covered by a separate written proposal or agreement setting out scope, price, schedule and terms. If that agreement conflicts with these website terms, the agreement applies.
Information on this website
Guides, service descriptions, the Balance planner and other content on this website are general information. They do not account for your home's condition, local codes or your circumstances, and they do not replace an on-site assessment by a qualified, licensed professional.
- Loans and warranties: Modern Nest Balance is not a lender, mortgage broker or financial adviser. Information about financing or warranties is general guidance, not financial, credit or legal advice. Lenders decide approval, rates, fees and terms, and warranty coverage is set by each provider.
- Safety: fire safety, carbon monoxide, ice dam, winter and security guidance is general and is not a formal inspection, code-compliance certificate or security audit. In an emergency, get to safety and call emergency services.
- Solar and energy: any discussion of solar output, heating, insulation or savings is illustrative. Results depend on location, roof orientation, shade, snow cover, weather, equipment, utility rates and household use. We do not guarantee savings.
- Permits and licensed work: electrical, gas, structural, roofing, egress and solar work is often regulated and may need permits, licensed trades or historic district review. You are responsible for confirming what applies to your property.
